Are dogs and other pets allowed on the Fairgrounds?

No dogs and/or other pets and/or animals are allowed on the Fairgrounds during the Walworth County Fair, as well as non-Fair events, with the exceptions of ADA-approved working service dogs or animals approved of an exhibition.
We value all of our visitors to the Walworth County Fairgrounds. The Walworth County Fair follows ADA guidelines regarding service animals. A service animal is one that is trained to do work, perform tasks, and assist individuals with disabilities.
Due to the nature of some attractions at the Walworth County Fair and Fairgrounds, service animals are not permitted on rides or attractions, and may be restricted in certain areas due to safety concerns.
Service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness and under the control of the owner at all times.
ADA regulations state that the specific work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to a person’s disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals according to the ADA. Therefore, emotional support animals are not permitted.

No carry-in alcohol allowed.

Are there carnival wristband days?

This ticket is valid for unlimited rides, good on only ONE of the following regularly scheduled wristband days:
Wednesday, August 28th, 2024 from 3pm - close
Thursday, August 29th, 2024 from 3pm - close
Friday, August 30th, 2024 from noon - close
Saturday, August 31st, 2024 from noon - close
Sunday September 1st, 2024 from noon - close; or
Monday September 2nd, 2024 from noon - 8pm.
(Please note that discount weekday wristbands for $30 will be sold until August 28th, 2024 at midnight).

Standard-size wheelchairs are available in a limited quantity on a first-come, first-served basis.
No electric scooters are available for rental.

What are the age qualifications for tickets and how much is admission to this year's Walworth County Fair?

‍ADMISSION PRICES:
‍Adult Daily: $13.00
Senior Daily: $10.00 (Ages 62+ on Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday)
Junior Daily: $8.00 (5 - 12 years old)
4 Years Old & Younger: Free
Early Bird Adult Season: $35.00 (Price is good until the first Friday in August, 8/1/25)
Adult Season: $50.00
Junior Season: $20.00 (5 - 12 years old)
Adult tickets are for Ages 13 years old and up.
Senior Citizen (Ages 62 years old and up) ticket specials are on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday during the Fair.
Junior tickets are for Ages 5-12 years old.
Children 4 years old and younger are FREE.

The Walworth County Fair is located in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, which is in southeastern Wisconsin. Elkhorn is between Milwaukee and Chicago, just north of Lake Geneva.

What are the hours of the annual Walworth County Fair?

The grounds of the Walworth County Fair are open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m Wednesday through Sunday. 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Labor Day
The Fair Office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. during the Walworth County Fair.
Carnival hours. The daily hours of North American Midway Entertainment vary. Please view the Carnival page
Exhibit Barns and Buildings. Hours vary. The animal exhibit barns are open all day, with varying hours of closure in the evening.
Commercial Building Hours. North Hall Commercial Area, 10a-10p. Fair Office Building Commercial, 9a-10p.

What are the dates of the Walworth County Fair?

The Walworth County Fair runs from the Wednesday prior to Labor Day through Labor Day Monday every year. The 2025 Walworth County Fair dates are August 27th through -September 1st.
